Learning to heal
From wounds in life, we learn. That is, if we learn. It’s only from learning that we can transcend our pains and get to know what is lacking in our lives. So these pains have scarred and got embedded in our hearts and minds sending us to get stagnant and feel deep anger or revenge toward another for having hurt us. Or it may be that our own neglect and rashness in life or sheer determination to get things done have got us stuck in our own predicament then we find out all of a sudden that we have been sitting all along and age has taken us. Wounds and revenge and feelings of inadequacy may suddenly come creeping and we feel pain, anger and hopelessness.
Have we stopped to consider to learn from our pains, delve deep into our souls and see where we might have erred. We might have erred not to let go and heal ourselves on the process.
While it may be difficult to forgive someone for having hurt us, it is also a difficult situation to feel bitter and feel stress, thinking about the pain that one may have caused us. We are not getting any younger and it would be better to enjoy life. To let go off stressful feelings that one has over things and people on what may be situations where it may be better to detach and send energies of love and healing instead.
Forgiving one’s self for one’s failure also leads us to heal and move forward. It may be that we have dillydallied through the years and have not made use of time more productively. Or it may be that we have driven ourselves too much and found out at the end of the day that we lacked to nurture our spiritual self. Being gentle to one’s self can make wonders.
As we heal and discover our spiritual selves, the power of joy and good feelings for people can make wonders on healing ourselves and healing others too.
